Gamified Digital Solutions for Tinnitus Health Literacy (TinWise)

Addressing a gap in Health Literacy for Tinnitus in Europe: Studies conducted by our group via the Tin-TRAC project revealed significant illiteracy due to the variable nature of the condition. A dedicated health literacy platform for tinnitus addresses this challenge. The overall goal of the Erasmus+ project TinWise is to empower Tinnitus patients through learning, transforming them into active players in the management of their condition. As such, the main aim is to develop a gamified health literacy platform for chronic disorders with the use case of tinnitus. Exploit gamification principles to increase motivation and transform knowledge in an activity. Use Co-creation principles to develop games with equal gender representation among patients for solutions that retain motivation to learn and ensure.
